Love In The Air

The Sun was mellow
The water gently moved to the beach and back
The breeze was enough to be felt
To feel good.
A few people on the beach
In swimwear.
Love was in the air
An occasional car drove by on the street
A Woman in the Cafe
Reading.
Coffee on her table
Time stops.Then moves on
To put one more line on your face
But love was in the air
The cliff,it is lonely
But it knows loneliness
It’s seen more than we’ve seen
As beauty is nowhere to be found
On a drab,desolate afternoon
By an abandoned sea
But love was in the air.
