Truth about grief

The clouds so grey, imitate a heart
Teardrops fall as rain
On the edge of an implosion
Or explosion
A mind does rest.
Withdrawal is Gold
The darkness that resides inside
Is precious than the lights shining bright
Too bright.
It is going to seem longer than it is
As it slowly slips out of the fingers.
Then Smile. You’re forced to smile
The saddest smile one could ever see
Why are they shy to mention?
The truth about grief.

A Lake Among The Mountains

I was the lake among the mountains
Untouched, pristine,hard to reach
I talked to the Heavens everyday
As they were near me.
As alone as a tree in a desert
I was easy to figure.
My nuances clear, every characteristic visible
Self sufficient and present.
I was the lake among the mountains
Movements disturb, voices unnecessary
Music redundant.
I was the heart of all things fecund and good,
Like an everlasting spring of fervour, compassion and bliss.
My mountains were my noble shields
I was the lake among the mountains
There was beauty in and around me
Nights illuminated and days heeding
My distance from others was probity.
I can narrate
If You could ever find a perfect picture
Creation could unfold where I was at
I was the lake among the mountains
Powerful and Showing.

Rain

It’s raining outside
As it adds to the music
Men in suits, women in tops and skirts
Some umbrellas open, some people rush to the nearest shelter
As it rains and the music plays.
Symphony.
It’s the grandest music one would ever hear
The streets and homes are washed
And the earth smells new
The city lights are a pretty sight
As clouds warm the sky in view
It rains and the music plays
What did rain bring with itself?
A reason to moist your soul
Make one less rock, more lifelike
The music makes you larger than you knew
Yet in your torso
You could wash at least one unwanted yesterday that Sunshine wouldn’t heal
Rain could hide me in view
And the song makes you something you are not. For a needed moment.
I see a wet dog.
As it rains and the music plays.

Every Night

Stars they glitter peacefully on an ebony sky
Such sparkling twilight
Colours they swirl across the sea
Dolphins sail home,brewing with Glee.

The distant hills and valley lie watching
To a full Moon that stands the king
The greenery of lands morph their hue
For the spectacle that forms in view.

Silence reigns this night
As nature takes a sublime flight
Into the heart of Creation
Into perennial elation.

A vision to view such bliss
With nature ,we find peace
If we should know from this beautiful sight
Our life was glorious every night,Every Night.

You

It’s your journey
And before you submit yourself to unquestioning obedience
Know that your feathers were fitting in flight
You might fail trying to,or finally be unable
But what virtue was there in trying
You should find honor.
If you should succeed as you were designed to
Remember what humility ,you have learned.
It’s your life
And before the world’s ways should dampen your spirit
Know what potential you have brought forward
Do not look down upon the lost and needy
Their stories could be yours
As you strive towards a brighter tomorrow
It’s your story
And before someone else writes the script
Remember what fulfilment lies in being yourself
Learning from your design
Respecting others.
It’s your life
None can replace
And within sham and grace
Gratitude and betrayal
Your spirit lives on untouched.
It’s all you.Break free.Unleash.

Wild Souls

As I lay naked underneath the diamond sky
And colours swirl playfully into the night
I am high on life, high on love
Higher than the stars above
The moon taps softly to rhyme I find

A brilliant light floods my brain
Parched land touch drops of rain
Pristine an ocean, fertile such land
Greener than emeralds,mirror like sand
The sky engulfs my soul I find

There is such beauty in nature
I cannot be two with it
In it’s womb should I be nurtured
Wild souls find abode in it.

The battle is won!

The battle is won!
Men,they are scarred and charred
Kingdoms scathed apart
My King!He calls for exulting
Our pride!Our flag!Our whim!
The battle is won!
Wake up, dead souls
We have fecund soil and gold
Written on the sands of time!
Our victory song in rhyme
The battle is won!
Freedom to every man
Mob roar to every stand
An undercurrent to be culled
Seeking vacuous eyes gaping lull
The battle is won!
Look O King! Our men and women and children
Joyous pride resides when
A deeper sensibility is disturbed
Lord! You seem perturbed
The battle is won!

Sadhana

Outside our naive existence

Was residing a greater truth

A deeper sensibility had been shaken

Unknown to regular youth

Life was joyful,Life was sweet

Always constant and Always present

Suffering was our way of being

Clinging to life

Having no end

A question raised,Ought to be answered

Pain and penury, ought to be resolved

A lonesome soul on an only pursuit

Not a question left,All answered,All.

A slice of City

Bridges and skyscrapers
Neon lights to a setting Sun
A million lives,lost or found
Everybody for everyone
Cars they come and go,
Planes fly,ships flow
Some swear by their coffee
Some bagels and Ginger ale to go
Find yourself in another
Or lose yourself to the Moon
Reading lines you wish to have written
The next season follows soon
The city it’s awake
Seeking and strong
It’s lush in the neighbourhoods
City,find your belong.
